Retouching |

Retouching is an integral part of any professional photographic service. Tummy tucks, hip reductions, chin tucks, teething rash or acne, it can be retouched.Due to the incredible capabilities of our professional photographic equipment our lenses often record more detail that is normally visible to many people. At About Faces Photography we use a variety of methods to reduce the impact of the ultra clarity of our professional gear; we usually add a little soft focus and minor spot retouching as part of our final print preparation.Many clients require a whole lot more, for example:-
1. a baby with a violent teething rash, some may argue that this is natural and most argue that this is a short term affliction that should not be recorded as what this baby looked like forever. We at About Faces Photography can retouch that nasty short term rash so that babies skin looks as good as it usually does. 2. bad acne can be accentuated by different lighting conditions. The lighting may be vital to getting the correct mood to the photographic image however it may accentuate the acne; again we can reduce or totally remove the acne, its up to the client how they wish to be seen. Most acne is hormone induced and comes and goes; don’t let a few spots determine when you are photographed when a little retouching can restore you to normal. 3. Tummy tucks, hip reductions, and chin tucks etc. are also very popular with many clients. Our new mums really appreciate that they can have their “nurturing baby weight” reduced to how they normally appear. Our new dads are often appreciative of a “pre pregnancy” face and body lift, and many grandparents really enjoy a little softening here and there. 4. Stains & marks on clothing, imagine your clothes look great; washed and ironed for the great photographic event, then the baby vomits on you or as a bride someone spills red wine and stains your wedding gown. YUK!!!. Don’t panic we can retouch it!
Every retouching image is different therefore every retouching job is different we quote each individually. Usually retouching jobs beyond our normal included service start from a few dollars and go on up to match the complexity of the retouching needed. |
